Photodynamic Therapy (pdt) ist the modern light therapy ((photodynamic therapy) for the gentle treatment of white skin cancer (basalioma), skin cancer precursors (actinic keratosis) and other skin diseases.
Light or white skin cancer, such as basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and other superficial carcinoma. Actinic (or solar) keratoses and Bowen’s disease can also be treated well in dermatology with photodynamic therapy (PDT).
PDT is an advanced dermatological and gentle treatment. It combines the application of photosensisting cream with the activating effect of UV-light to destroy abnormal skin cells, such as skin cancer. This photodynamic therapy is an integral part of our modern skin cancer treatment. In particular it is much gentler than conventional surgical tissue removal.
