The automated total body mapping (ATBM) from Fotofinder® is an innovative method for early skin cancer detection that photographs the entire skin surface in just a few minutes. After the initial documentation, AI (artificial intelligence) analyzes all areas of the skin that show abnormalities and classifies them. These areas are then thoroughly examined and evaluated by our experienced medical team. This gives you the benefit of double security: state-of-the-art technology and many years of dermatological experience.
At your next preventive care appointment, these images can be compared with the previous images with millimeter precision using AI and examined specifically by our dermatologists. This makes even the smallest changes in moles or new lesions visible. For you, this means complete documentation, maximum precision, and even more safety in skin cancer prevention.
Even though the classic examination with a reflected light microscope is very thorough, it only provides a snapshot. Changes cannot therefore be detected. Videoscopy (digital microscopic individual images) provides us with this information, but only for moles that are already under observation. ATBM also detects new or previously inconspicuous pigment changes. Combining these methods achieves the greatest possible certainty for the early detection of skin cancer. This is our area of expertise.
