Spider Veins

Small broken blood vessels which appear on the skin's surface as fine red lines are called spider veins. The name came because in some cases they look like spiderwebs. Spider veins can be caused by aging, weight gain, pregnancy, sun exposure and other factors.

To remove unwanted spider veins in the legs the injection method, known as scleortherapy is very efficient. It stops the blood flow and the visible vein will fade away. For facial spider veins the gold standard is the laser therapy. Here light is used to destroy the tiny little blood vessles and restore the skin's natural appearance.
